On Sunday, March 1, 2009, I interviewed Lisa Erickson, otherwise known as "MommyMystic" in her online profiles and on her blog at www.mommymystic.com. Lisa and I became friends online through Jenny Mannion's site (www.jennymannion.com) and is registered in our Cirkla Directory.

During this interview, Lisa and I discussed her work with The Maat Institute and her studies of the chakras, chakra meditation and energy bodies. One of Lisa's recent topics of study is the effects of motherhood on the subtle energy body and she often writes about various feminine energetic and symbolic archetypes in her blog posts, including: Joan of Arc, Gangaji, Margery Kempe, Sukhasiddhi, Rabia Basri, Sylvia Boorstein, Mirabai, Mugai Nyobai, Hildegard of Bingen, Alexandra David-Neel and Anne Hutchinson.

We also discussed her internet marketing strategies for her growing healing arts business and how she manages to shift gears to teach stress management within the corporate setting. We discussed how Lisa deals with the challenges of marketing herself online and elsewhere, while maintaining a busy young family and a full-time business.
